The challenge
A large energy company needed tomigrateits IBM MQ infrastructure to a modern, containerized environmentwhile ensuring reliable day-to-day operations .
The existing messaging architecture was to be transformed to a Kubernetes-basedplatform to enable scalability, automation and operational resilience .
The project required a careful approach toavoid service disruptions, maintain high security standards and manage the full lifecycle of the migration as well as ongoing operations .
In addition, the work included the development of deployment solutions, automation scripts and system hardening, all implemented fully remotely and in-house.
Our solution
We supported the company with design, implementation and operation of IBM MQ on Kubernetes.
Key activities included:
- Design and management of deployment solutions using Ansible and AWX- Development of automation scripts in Bash, Python and Perl to optimize operational processes
- Operation and monitoring of the containerized infrastructure on Kubernetes
- Implementation of system hardening and security optimizations to meet corporate standards
